We are now building 7:21, Volvo Cars’ new logistics property at Hisingen in Gothenburg. The property, of 22,900 square meters, is part of Bockasjö and Platzer’s jointly owned JV company, Sörred Logistikpark.

Platzer and Bockasjö have signed an agreement with Volvo Cars to lease 22,900 m² of commercial premises. The lease agreement runs for 10 years and includes a ‘green’ annex.

The logistics building will be environmentally certified in line with BREEAM-SE Excellent and will be equipped with geothermal heating with heat recovery and a 500 kW photovoltaic system. The expected handover date is 1 March 2023, with earlier access to certain storage spaces on 15 December 2022.

Sörred Logistikpark boasts an attractive logistics location close to the automotive industry and the Port of Gothenburg in the Torslanda area. The area has long been an attractive location for industry, logistics facilities and global trade due to its proximity to the port and good infrastructure. Numerous companies are already present in the area. Sörred Logistikpark shows how the combination of a strategic location and an attractive product with high sustainability ambitions attracts powerful partners.

Sörred Logistikpark is particularly attractive because of its potential to offer extended high-bay warehouses. The detailed plan allows for shelves with a maximum height of 40 metres, which is unique for the area.
