Groundbreaking ceremony for Schenker Logistic’s facility in Sörred Logistikpark

On Wednesday 25 May, the ground was broken for the first building in Sörred Logistikpark. Schenker Logistics will soon move into 30,000 m² of BREEAM-SE Excellent certified space.

For Schenker Logistics, location was an important factor in their search for a new facility. They chose Sörred Logistikpark on Hisingen, a business park that we, together with Platzer, are developing in Sweden’s best logistics location in Gothenburg.

Working to reduce our operation’s carbon footprint is important to us. Naturally, this is something we share with Schenker Logistics. That’s why when we build their new logistics facility in Sörred Logistikpark, we’re doing it to one of the highest sustainability standards in the property industry – BREEAM-SE Excellent. For example, the new building will be equipped with a 500 kW photovoltaic system. Now that’s something to feel good about!
