Bockasjö has signed a lease with Volvo Car Corporation (VCC). VCC will lease
8,000 square meters in one of the properties Bockasjö is building on Hisingen. Move-in is expected in spring 2021.

Bockasjö is in the midst of a powerful expansion. In addition to two buildings that were just completed on Hisingen, two logistics centres are being built in Stockholm. Åhléns will be leasing one of them. The two properties are jointly owned with Kilenkrysset.

In Eskilstuna, construction will soon begin of a new logistics centre that Apoteket will lease when it is ready at the end of the year.

In Bockasjö’s joint venture with Platzer, work is underway on excavation and preparing around 300,000 square meters of land, which will facilitate the construction of six new logistics centres on Hisingen. Construction of the first property will begin after summer.

Ongoing construction, excavation and planned investments amount to about SEK 2.5 billion.

“Demand for logistics space is sharply increasing due to increased e-commerce, which went up to about SEK 130 billion in 2020 compared to 80 billion in 2019,” says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Bockasjö.
