Platzer and Bockasjö have signed an agreement with Schenker Logistics AB, which is establishing a 30,000 m2 facility at the Sörred 8:12 property in Sörred Logistikpark. The lease agreement runs for 10 years and includes a ‘green’ annex. Completion is scheduled for spring 2023. The lease is the third in a short space of time for Platzer and Bockasjö’s joint venture Sörred Logistikpark, and means that 77,200 m² of the total 135,000 m² is now leased.

Platzer and Bockasjö welcome Schenker Logistics as a tenant at Sörred Logistikpark. The logistics provider is taking up 30,000 m² of commercial premises in a newly constructed logistics building from the total 43,000 m² of commercial premises at the Sörred 8:12 property. The building will be environmentally certified in line with BREEAM-SE Excellent and will be equipped with a 500 kW photovoltaic system. The lease agreement runs for 10 years and includes a ‘green’ annex. Completion is scheduled for 1 April 2023.

Sörred Logistikpark boasts an attractive logistics location close to the automotive industry and the Port of Gothenburg in the Torslanda area. In the first half of 2022, the JV has leased 77,200 m² of commercial premises from the total 135,000 m² available at the logistics park. The remaining space consists of two buildings comprising 30,000 m² of commercial premises and 15,000 m² of commercial premises respectively, as well as 13,000 m² of commercial premises in the building that is now being developed as part of the Schenker Logistics deal.

Facts

SÖRRED LOGISTIKPARK is a Joint Venture (JV) between Bockasjö and Platzer, with each party owning 50%. Together the company will develop 130,000 m² of attractive logistics space in the Torslanda area on the Sörred 8:12 and Sörred 7:21 sites. Within the JV, Bockasjö will act as the business developer and Platzer will subsequently become the sole owner and manager of the completed properties on market terms.
