PostNord and Bockasjö break ground in Landvetter Logistikpark
In mid-December, the first official groundbreaking for the construction of PostNord’s new third-party logistics property at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport took place.
“Construction has been going on for a while, but it still feels great to be able to tick off this symbolically important milestone,” says Mårten Koshko, Business Development Manager, PostNord TPL.
PostNord TPL has had very good growth in all regions in recent years. It is this positive trend that has led to the new establishment in the logistics park at Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.
PostNord TPL will rent the entire property of 46,000 square metres. The first phase totals approximately 20,000 m2 and will be ready for occupancy on 1 June 2020. The remainder of the building will be ready for occupancy in the autumn of 2020.
“At present, all parties are working intensively to complete the property so that it will be ready on schedule. For us, the current focus is on layout, warehouse furnishings, handling technology and IT infrastructure,” says Mårten Koshko, Business Development Manager, PostNord TPL.rsutvecklingschef, PostNord TPL.
Landvetter Logistik Center, which is owned by Bockasjö, is erecting the logistics property. The property is Green Building labelled with low energy consumption, and comes ready to be equipped with solar cells.
“Construction is going according to plan. This is our fifth project with the PostNord Group, which we are very pleased about,” says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Bockasjö and CEO of Landvetter Logistik Center.
