Ground is broken at Arlandastad
Ground has now been broken for the two logistics properties totaling 60,000 m² which Bockasjö AB will build in Arlandastad. The investment amounts to SEK 500 million, which confirms the area’s continued expansion.
Bockasjö AB specializes in building, owning and managing large logistics properties. The company has signed a long-term lease for the 31,000 m² property with Schenker Logistics AB, which is already established in the area.
Negotiations are underway with tenants regarding the other property of 30,000 m², which is planned to be built simultaneously. The buildings are expected to be move-in ready in autumn 2013.
The buildings will be environmentally certified according to Green Building, which means energy consumption will be 25% lower than the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning’s building regulations (BBR). The facilities will be built to reduce consumption of electricity and heat.
The properties will be owned by Bockasjö AB.
