Ground has now been broken for GardenStore’s new logistics facility located in Eskilstuna Logistics Park. The facility, which will be around 30,000 square metres, is being built by property development company Bockasjö AB, who signed a lease agreement with the fast-growing e-retailer GardenStore Nordic AB.

“We are delighted to have GardenStore as a tenant in this new logistics centre,” says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Bockasjö AB.
“The new logistics centre will be ready for occupancy in February 2023 and will be environmentally certified according to BREEAM-SE with a rating of Excellent. Solar cells will be integrated as part of the environmental installations that the building will be adapted with,” says Joakim Hedin.

“GardenStore is experiencing strong growth and taking rapid steps towards becoming a leader in online sales of garden and outdoor products.  The move to a modern and sustainably designed logistics building in Eskilstuna Logistics Park creates the conditions for our future expansion and more efficient logistics management,” says Valentin Berg, CEO of GardenStore Nordic AB.

“This significant investment by Bockasjö and GardenStore’s establishment in Eskilstuna Logistics Park is very gratifying and we welcome the fast-growing e-retailer to Eskilstuna Logistics Park. The move will generate numerous new and important jobs and further strengthen our position as an attractive business location, now and in the future,” says David Hofmann, CEO of Eskilstuna Logistik och Etablering AB.
