Bring hires 18,000 square metres in Rosersberg from Bockasjö and Kilenkrysset

Property development companies Bockasjö and Kilenkrysset have signed a long-term lease agreement with Bring to lease an entire property. The property is being completed this autumn and Bring will move in on 1 January 2022. The property is strategically located at the intermodal terminal in Rosersberg.
Bring is establishing what is known as a Shelfless facility in Rosersberg to meet the demand for parcel delivery in the Stockholm area.
The concept of Shelfless is already operating in Oslo and is now coming to Stockholm Nord, Rosersberg. Bring is establishing logistics facilities to quickly deliver parcels from online stores to the entire Stockholm area within hours of ordering.
“Shelfless is one of our biggest investments in e-commerce logistics and fast, green deliveries. Rosersberg has a good geographical location, close to Arlanda airport, Stockholm City and Uppsala. The location will enable us to offer the same-day delivery of goods to over three million people,” says Per Öhagen, Executive Vice President of Bring E-Commerce and Logistics.
The current premises is newly built and will be put into use during the autumn and winter before being renovated and adapted.
“Shelfless will be revolutionary for online retailers who want to establish themselves and grow in the Nordic market. As the same technology is available in Oslo, it means that online stores will be able to offer same-day delivery to almost five million people in Sweden and Norway. In addition, the majority of deliveries will be fossil-free,” says Per Öhagen.
“We are delighted that Bring wants to rent this new property from us and that it is so well suited to Bring’s needs,” says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Mälarringen AB. Mälarringen is owned in equal parts by Kilenkrysset and Bockasjö.
Bockasjö and Kilenkrysset formed a joint venture company in autumn 2019 to construct a number of properties on land owned by Kilenkrysset together. So far, the joint venture has built two properties in Rosersberg. It owns approximately 110,000 square metres of land in Rosersberg, where the plan is to build two new properties of 42,000 and 21,000 square metres of leasable area respectively.
