Bockasjö signs long-term lease with nordic region’s largest online sporting goods store
The powerful growth in e-commerce is the background of the successful collaboration between property development company Bockasjö AB and the Nordic region’s largest online sporting goods store – Sportamore AB (Publ). In Eskilstuna, Bockasjö is responsible for the construction of a new logistics centre which will be rented by Sportamore in a long-term lease.
The new facility is strategically located in Eskilstuna, with a total of 23,000 square meters of leasable space. It is designed as a modern warehouse and logistics centre. Everything will be completed in July 2017.
The property’s capacity for the addition of an equal amount of space ensures the expansion.

Based in Borås, the Bockasjö Group is active in property management and development, with a focus on warehousing and logistics in Scandinavia. The group is owned equally by Joakim Hedin and Paul Frankenius.
In February this year, property group Bockasjö and pension company Alecta formed a new, joint property company, Logistikfastigheter i Sverige AB, with the goal to build a significant portfolio of logistics properties in strategic locations throughout Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia within five years. Logistikfastigheter i Sverige AB will take over the new facility in Eskilstuna after completion.
