Bockasjö signs a 19,000 sq. m lease agreement with Outnorth
Bockasjö has signed a long-term lease agreement with fast-growing e-retailer Outnorth, who will be leasing 19,000 square metres in one of the properties constructed and owned by Bockasjö on Hisingen island. The property, which is currently under construction, will be completed at the beginning of next year.
During spring 2021, Outnorth is moving its logistics activities from Växjö, and will be operating from the new property on Hisingen from April.
Outnorth is a fast-growing e-retailer specialised in selling clothes, shoes and equipment for outdoor activities and sports. Outnorth has enjoyed a successful development and continues to grow after record sales in 2020. The company is owned by the well-known Danish company Egmont Publishing A/S.
“Outnorth is in the midst of a strong expansion and the new property on Hisingen meets our need for more capacity, a modern design and an excellent location for logistics activities,” says Harold Ennen, CEO of Outnorth AB.
“The e-commerce market has recorded strong growth in all sectors so the need for new logistics spaces is great – which can be seen from the lease agreement we signed with Outnorth. The Bockasjö Group is undergoing a phase of strong expansion with five properties currently under construction, totalling 160,000 square metres of rentable space. The properties being constructed are located on Hisingen island in Gothenburg, at Rosersberg in Stockholm, and at Landvetter Airport City, also in Gothenburg.
Christoffer Bladh Nord of CBRE Sweden AB acted as the advisor throughout the leasing process.
