Bockasjö sells properties for sek 350 million
Property and development company Bockasjö AB is selling four properties. The properties are located in Umeå, Linköping, Ullared and Helsingborg
The properties in Umeå, Linköping and Helsingborg are being acquired by a Norwegian investment consortium represented by Wilfast Förvaltning AB and Ness, Risan & Partners A/S. The majority shareholder in the company buying the properties is NRP Eiendom 2012 A/S. The property in Ullared is being acquired by Gekås AB. The tenant in the properties in Umeå, Linköping and Ullared is NetonNet. In Helsingborg, PostNord Logistics TPL is the tenant.
The purchase price for both deals amounts to SEK 350 million. The properties will be taken over on March 1.
After today’s transactions, in the last four months the Bockasjö Group will have divested properties worth SEK 490 million, including the sale of 3,000 hectares of forest in Latvia and a property in Borås. The Bockasjö Group’s remaining property portfolio amounts to 150,000 m² situated in Helsingborg, Landvetter Airport City and Arlandastad near Arlanda Airport.
“We continually review our property portfolio and with today’s sale, our portfolio is concentrated only on larger logistics properties with the best locations, such as Stockholm/Arlanda, with an influx of 35,000 people/year; Landvetter Airport City – part of the strongest logistics area in Sweden; Gothenburg/Borås and Helsingborg – part of the growing and strategically important Öresund region. We are strengthening our cash and balance sheet and getting ready for new investments with a focus on Stockholm, the Gothenburg/Borås region and the Öresund region,” says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Bockasjö AB.
“PostNord’s logistics facility in Helsingborg is an ultra-modern property and fits into our partners’ property portfolios, and Bigbox in Linköping and Umeå is a great complement to the logistics portfolio,” says Mattias Wilson, CEO of Wilfast Förvaltning AB.
“We see the property in Ullared as an important strategic investment,” says Boris Lennerhov, CEO of Gekås AB.
