Bockasjö AB has acquired land along the E4 near the exit to Arlanda Airport outside Stockholm. Amounting to 120,000 m², the land has been managed by Arlandastad Holding AB. The acquired area can be developed with around 60,000 m² of warehouses, offices etc.
The total investment is expected to amount to around SEK 500 million, including construction of the properties which can be built on the acquired land.
“We’re satisfied that we’ve accessed this very interesting area of land, which has a highly strategic location. Stockholm is a prioritized logistics area, due to the enormous population in the region that requires a daily supply of goods,” says Joakim Hedin, CEO of Bockasjö AB.
“The sale of this property strengthens us as a company in the development of our other development properties. Logistics is not our core operation and therefore it feels especially good to be able to sell to Bockasjö, which we perceive as a professional player and a breath of fresh air on the logistics market.
